Vintage Christmas

I'm probably the only Stampin' Up! Demonstrator that hasn't already pre-ordered from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I ordered the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set but that's about it. It isn't because the new catalog doesn't have anything I want. On the contrary, it's jam-packed with so many things that I absolutely must have! It's just that August has been a pretty hectic month and I haven't really had a chance to sit down and pick things from my wish list that my budget allows for.

This became very apparent this past weekend when I was, definitely, in the Christmas card making spirit and realized that I didn't really have any Christmas Stamp Sets. You see, I joined Stampin' Up! last November and, being so close to Christmas, I decided not to invest in any Christmas Stamp Sets.

I really wanted to make a Christmas card so I decided to scour my craft room for any signs of Christmas. I looked high and low and left no stamp set unturned! Finally, there she was! The tried and true, Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set. The pine tree from this lovely set was perfect! However, I was still missing one thing, a Christmas sentiment. As a last resort, I went through my retired stamp sets and there she was, the most beautiful Merry Christmas sentiment I had ever seen was right there in the Petite Pairs stamp set.

I exhaled and thought... I'm going to make a Christmas card! Isn't Christmas absolutely the most wonderful time of the year?

Now, gather your supplies, join me in my craft room, and be inspired to transform paper into a little work of art.

As usual, I adore your beautiful card. You said in the video that you had a different video on how to make the little roses. I can't find the link for it. Thank you for sharing.
