A Little About Me

Hey there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! My name is Areli and I'm just a girl who loves Jesus and using God's gift to transform paper into little works of art.

I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator for three years but, unfortunately, had to give it up. I went back to work full-time and could not devote the time to serving my amazing customers. I miss the Stampin Up! community, especially my customers, but I'm traveling down a path that God has put before me and it, unfortunately, does not include Stampin Up.

My husband and I live in Michigan. We have been married 34 years. After raising our three children and only a couple of years of an empty nest, we are living a "life redirected" as we are raising four of our grandsons. I love the boys with all my heart but parenting a house full of boys is not for the weak! It requires a level of energy normally reserved for superheroes, energy that (at my age) I do not have. What I do have is comfort in knowing that every day He chooses me to care for them is truly a blessing. And, on those days that are tougher than others, I rely on the strength of our Lord and hold on to His promise that "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose." ~Romans 8:28

So you see, it's obvious that my house is never lacking in things that make loud noises or covered in dirt. Which is why I take refuge in my crafting. My craft room is my girly place. It is where I meet creativity and creativity is my BFF.

Over the years. I have tried all kinds of crafts, but the love of my crafting world is paper crafting. There’s just something about starting with plain old paper and watching as it’s transformed into a breath-taking work of art!

I am so thankful and blessed to have this platform where I can share with you some of the things I have learned while on my crafting journey. So, pull up a chair, stay a while, and be sure to click the subscribe link over to the right so you get notified anytime I post something new!

With His Gifts,
