Retro Christmas Tag

Looking to put the finishing touch on that perfect gift you found for that special someone in your life? Well, this lovely little tag should do the trick nicely!

Today's project was inspired by a retro (circa 1950) color palette that includes dusty pinks and aquas. The soft and pretty colors are accompanied by ribbon, lace, and pearls! Oh my! The result is absolutely gorgeous!

Now, gather your supplies, join me in my craft room, and be inspired to transform paper into a little work of art.

I had so much fun creating this project to share with you. I hope you love it as much as I do! Don't forget to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of today's project. I would love to hear from you!

I will do my best to list all the supplies I use in my tutorials. If I use a product that's been discontinued or has been in my craft room so long that I no longer how it got there, I will try to recommend a suitable substitution.

Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions about today's projects or any of the supplies I used.

Shabby Chic Romantic Christmas Card

Today's project was inspired by the soft greens and frosty whites that create breath-taking winter wonderlands...some of God's most amazing art work! You know, the kind that make you wanna sing!

♫ Sleigh bells ring, are you listening ♫
♫ In the lane, snow is glistening ♫
♫ A beautiful sight ♫
♫ We're happy tonight ♫
♫ Walking in a winter wonderland ♫

I love this time of year! Time slows down and homes are filled with love, laughter, and family. Christmas is absolutely the most wonderful time of the year!

Gather your supplies, join me in my craft room, and be inspired to transform paper into a little work of art.

Shabby Chic Christmas Junk Journal

Hello everyone! I'm sorry that I haven't posted much lately but I was suffering from a very serious case of creative block!

I have spent the last few months watching and admiring the gorgeous creations of some of my most favorite YouTube creators! Well, I've done other things, too. I'm not a YouTube junkie or anything like that (lol)! Anyway, the more I watched these talented ladies the more I was reminded of why I fell in love with paper crafting that one day long, long ago! And, slowly but surely, the wretched creative block lifted as a choir sang in the background! Well, there was no choir but the block was definitely lifted!

With my inspiration (oh, how I've missed you!) as my guide I created my very first junk journal! And, today, I want to share it with you! I used Christmas Remnants Digital Journal Kit by Dreamz Etc Design Studio. This kit is absolutely gorgeous, be sure to check it out!

The video below is not a tutorial, it is a flip through of my finished project. A tutorial would've been days long and I'm pretty sure YouTube would have a problem with that (lol).

And now... join me in my craft room and be inspired to transform paper into a little work of art.

I am very pleased with how my first junk journal turned out and it will, definitely, not be my last! I had so much fun creating it and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions about today's project or any of the supplies I used.

Here's my third and final project using product from Our Daily Bread Designs July 2018 Release. The product in this release is amazing! I will, without a doubt, reach for them over and over again! Be sure to check out the entire July 2018 Release here.

And lets talk paper for a second! Have you seen the paper?! The paper I used in my projects is not part of the July Release but I would be amiss if I did not give it a shout out! ODBD Design Team (July-Week 1)

It feels great to be back! It's been a really long time! About four months to be exact! A lot has happened in that time. The most significant change you will notice, here on my blog, is that I am no longer with Stampin' Up! I absolutely love Stampin' Up! but the time required to be the best demonstrator for my customers was no longer easy to come by. So, for that reason, I chose to step down. Even though it was a sad decision, it brings me so much joy knowing that my amazing customers have found amazing new demonstrators! So, please join me on my creative journey as I continue to create and share my projects with you!

Right out the gate, I am excited to announce that I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) during the months July and August!

The July 2018 Release is all about hugs and faith and today's projects are perfect for encouraging and reminding people that God loves them!

And now... join me in my craft room and be inspired to transform paper into a little work of art.

Project One (Stand Firm in Your Faith)

For my first project I used ODBD's Walk by Faith Stamp/Die Duos. With everything happening in the world, it is way too easy to lose sight of the things of heaven and to become consumed with things of the world! This set reminds me to, always, stay grounded in my Faith! I will, not doubt, reach for this set over and over again. Scroll down for the complete list of supplies.

Project Two (Hugs & Kisses)

For my second project I used ODBD's Hugs Stamp/Die Duos. This set will, definitely, bring a smile to someone's day because who doesn't like hugs & kisses, right? Scroll down for complete list of supplies.

Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions about today's project or any of the supplies I used.
